ACHEMA 2018: Outcomes
The international exhibition ACHEMA 2018 was held on June 11-15, 2018 in Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany. According to preliminary figures, over 170 000 specialists from 50 countries took part at the exhibition. The international forum which establishes the development trend in chemical industry, biotechnology and environmental safety areas, is held once every three years and is a major event in the industry.
At the booth, LAMSYSTEMS introduced the newly-designed model of the Microbiological Safety Cabinet Class II – SAVVYSL. Compared to its predecessor, the new cabinet has a lower noise level, a modified front sash lifting configuration and an adjustable-height stand. Exhibitors and visitors were impressed by the new cabinet, especially by the function of the front sash stopping in front of an obstacle (video). By the way, serial production of the product is planned to launch from September 2018.
Together with the latest model, the portable isolator X-BIO for transportation of patients suspected of being infected with especially hazardous diseases was also exhibited.
To sum up, it was a successful exhibition. All five days of the forum were eventful, new contacts were established, scheduled meeting were held with potential clients, as well as with the company's distributors from different countries.
