The biological safety cabinet Class II  SAVVY is designed for work with agents of biosafety levels I, II and III. It provides product, operator and environment protection.

Savvy is a new generation of the microbiological safety cabinets that inherited all the advantages of the previous model line Neoteric.  A set of constructive and layout solutions have drastically improved exploitational characteristics of the new cabinet.

EASY AND CONVENIENT AIRFLOW VELOCITY SETTING

The system provides separate inflow and downflow control as well as automatic air balance control. No need of mechanical air balance setting significantly decreases maintenance time when validating, changing filters and performing periodic
verifications.

HIGH MAINTENANCE ACCURACY OF PRESET AIRFLOW VELOCITY with any level of filters clogging or changing ambient conditions (humidity, temperature, pressure)

THE USE OF TOUCHSCREEN made displaying modes more demonstrative, the cabinet control easier and provided the user with more service information.

LARGE WORKING CHAMBER WITH MODEST TOTAL DIMENSIONS 

EASY AND SAFE FILTER CHANGING thanks to the layout solution and a new pressure system minimizing the filter damage risk during their installation.

BROAD BASIC CONFIGURATION

  • unique UV-unit,
  • visual-audio REFLEXLS alarm,
  • optical sensors of the UV-unit and front glass position,

  • removable armrest, frame with a footrest.
  • UV light is located in the pull-out unit outside the work chamber and does not interfere with the airflow at work.
 

Standard Configuration 

WorkChamber:

  • hinged front sash made of laminated safety glass; opening, closing and upholding is carried out by gas springs;
  • two dampers against front sash closing impact;
  • side windows made of tempered glass;
  • slanted front surface of the cabinet;
  • work chamber LED lighting;
  • two electric sockets in the work chamber (in the left part of the rear wall);
  • airflow laminarization screen made of polymer micromesh;
  • air intake grille in the rear wall of the work chamber;
  • three-section tabletop made of mirror stainless steel (AISI 304) with air intake grille in the front;
  • work chamber tray made of stainless steel (AISI 304);
  • removable armrest made of stainless steel (AISI 304)

UVUnit:

  • pullout (when inoperative, is stored outside of the work chamber under the tabletop);
  • metal grille protecting the UV lamp;
  • dampers against any impact upon lowering the work opening screen.

Supply and Exhaust Air Filtration System:

  • supply air coming into the work chamber is cleaned by supply HEPA filter H14;
  • exhaust air coming out of the cabinet is cleaned by exhaust HEPA filter H14;
  • three fans ensuring airflows inside the cabinet

Control System Components

  • microprocessor control system;
  • touchscreen control panel;
  • airflow sensors*;
  • front sash and UV unit position sensors;
  • individual fuse for power supply to the main functions of the cabinet (fan, lighting, UV lamp);
